Being selected for Audit can be scary and worrying. If you have recorded an accurate and continuous record of your continuing professional development (Standard 1 of the HCPC ironically) then you shouldn't worry too much.
Here's the HCPC Audits Dos and Fonts Link - https://www.hcpc-uk.org/registrants/updates/2019/cpd-audit-dos-and-donts/
Some great tips and supporting websites you might want to consider are:
Tip - No Gaps longer than 2 months in your CPD record. Make sure that you have a continuous record of your CPD. You probably have done CPD, just not recorded it. The CPDme Dashboard will spot gaps for you.
Tip - Clear evidence of Reflection in your Practice - Let someone else read your statements and evidence, can they see what you learned and how you will improve your practice?
Tip - Ensure that you map your statement to your evidence and more importantly how you met the CPD standards (HCPC has some fab videos) https://www.youtube.com/@hcpc
If you have all your CPD on our system, 99% of the work is done so don't worry. If you have not logged any CPD in the last few years, give yourself a shake!
